NAACP Parents Council Representatives and NAACP-MC Community Members:

MCPS’ FY 2024-2025 Operating Budget request was not fully funded so there will be ~$34 Million of additional reductions to programs and staff.

  *  May 23, 2024 County Council votes on MCPS FY 2025 Operating Budget

  *  June 6, 2024 Board of Ed votes to adopt FY 2025 Operating Budget

ALL PC Reps and our parents need to mobilize and contact Councilmembers and Board of Education members and demand:

  *  Cuts are done equitably

  *  Have minimal impact to our most vulnerable and marginalized students
