Wootton Black History Month Program

Wootton Black History Month Program

Good afternoon,

I hope this message finds everyone well. My name is Teemo Taiwo and I, along with Leila Khademian, am the Co-President of the Black Student Union at Thomas S. Wootton High School. Next week, we are kicking off our Black History Month Events. The highlight of our month-long celebration is our highly anticipated Annual Black History Month Program, with our theme this year: The Bridge Called Our Backs: A Story of Pain and Triumph.

We invites you, your students, your staff, and your family to our showcase from 6:30 – 8:30 on Wednesday, February 19th.  There will be acts ranging from dance to fashion performed by high school students,  but it won’t be complete without the community at our event.
